Some of my fondest times center around my family’s love affair with sugar: I remember being allowed to sprinkle the colored sugar on the Christmas tree and bells butter cookies. These cookies were made just once a year because of the tremendous amount they made and because the primary ingredients were powdered sugar and butter. Now each Christmas I make them, because it just isn’t Christmas without them. Lastly, I remember mom making homemade spaghetti sauce. Mom’s little secret - a teaspoon of sugar for love. You have definitely made me think back upon many years and let me realize how many happy memories I really do have centered with family, friends and those who have made a difference in my life.
Sincerely,
